Refund and Returns Policy – Ceronio Real Estate Management
This policy explains the withdrawal, cancellation and refund rights that apply when purchasing digital products, online courses, training or consultancy services from Ceronio Real Estate Management. Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any mandatory consumer right or remedy.
1. Scope and consumer status
Statutory consumer rights apply to a natural person purchasing mainly for purposes outside that person’s trade, business, craft or profession. Purchases made for business or professional purposes do not carry a statutory consumer cooling-off right unless mandatory law provides otherwise; any refund is then governed by the applicable product or service terms.
For eVTOL 2035, this policy must be read together with the eVTOL 2035 Terms of Sale and Publication Licence. Mandatory law prevails if there is any inconsistency.
2. Fourteen-day right of withdrawal
Subject to the exceptions below, a consumer who concludes a distance contract may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days. For a service contract or a contract for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the period generally begins when the contract is concluded. For goods, it generally begins when the consumer receives the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, email info@ceroniorealestate.com before the applicable period expires. Include your name, order number, the product or service and an unequivocal statement that you withdraw from the contract. For example: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for the identified product or service, stating the order number and purchase date.” No particular wording is required.
3. Immediately supplied digital content
Digital publications, eBooks, downloadable resources and personalised PDFs are digital content supplied without a tangible medium. A consumer loses the 14-day right of withdrawal once supply begins only where all legally required conditions have been met, including that the consumer:
- expressly requests and consents to supply beginning before the withdrawal period expires;
- acknowledges that the right of withdrawal will be lost when supply begins; and
- receives confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium as part of the contract confirmation.
Where those conditions are met and the download, private access link or other digital supply has been made available, a change-of-mind refund is not available. If valid consent, acknowledgement or confirmation has not been obtained, the consumer’s statutory rights remain unaffected.
4. Faulty, inaccessible or non-conforming digital content
The loss of the change-of-mind withdrawal right does not remove statutory remedies where digital content is faulty, inaccessible, materially different from its description or otherwise non-conforming. Contact info@ceroniorealestate.com with the order number and a description of the problem. We will first seek to restore access or provide a conforming copy within a reasonable time and without charge. Where the applicable law permits, the consumer may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract and receive a refund if conformity cannot be restored or the defect is sufficiently serious.
Prompt notification helps us resolve technical problems quickly, but no seven-day reporting limit in this policy reduces any mandatory statutory remedy.
5. Online courses and training
Where course material is supplied as digital content, section 3 applies. Where the contract is for a service, a consumer may expressly request that performance start during the 14-day withdrawal period. If the consumer then withdraws before the service is fully performed, a proportionate amount may be payable for the service supplied up to withdrawal. The right of withdrawal is lost after the service has been fully performed only where the legally required prior consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.
If we cancel a course or materially change the contracted course, we will offer the remedy required by the circumstances and applicable law, which may include rescheduling, a suitable replacement, credit or a refund.
6. Consultancy services
- Consultancy bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled time without a commercial cancellation fee.
- A cancellation made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a fee of up to 50% of the agreed consultancy fee, reflecting the reserved time and work already undertaken.
- These commercial cancellation terms do not override a consumer’s mandatory 14-day withdrawal rights or the rules governing services started during that period.
If a consumer asks us to begin consultancy during the withdrawal period and later withdraws before completion, the consumer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work properly performed up to withdrawal. Where the service has been fully performed with the legally required prior consent and acknowledgement, the statutory withdrawal right is lost.
7. Refund processing and licence transfers
- Where a refund is legally due following a valid withdrawal, termination or price reduction, it will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the relevant notice, using the original payment method unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise. A bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the credit.
- Sale, promotional and discounted purchases retain the same mandatory statutory rights as full-price purchases.
- Digital access, named-user licences and personalised copies may not be transferred to another person unless the applicable licence terms expressly permit the transfer or we approve it in writing.
- Any additional goodwill refund or credit offered outside mandatory law is discretionary and does not create an ongoing entitlement.
